I had no issues on Windows 7 ever but recently upgraded to Windows 10 and found some huge issues. The real issue with the mbox is a ground loop issue. Mbox 2 Pro, Pro Tools LE 8, Windows 10 Just wanted to make a quick post just in case users of the Mbox 2 Pro using Pro Tools LE 8 are having any issues with Windows 10. If you ground the audio circuit you will decrease your audio performance. There is a reason why audio circuits are isolated from ground - it improves the signal to noise ratio.
I saw a video on UTube advocating soldering a ground wire to the circuit board. It comes out the audio out ports and is a definite no-no on your audio tracks.
